Professional Summary
Called a generalist by some, my wide-ranging background is more than meets the eye. While editing and writing are my specializations, each job I've held has introduced me to and strengthened my abilities in the areas of journalism, proofreading, event planning, deadline completion, marketing/publicity, publishing, and graphic design. Each of these skills has allowed me to exceed expectations and excel in the roles I've held, from web marketer to senior editor and the spaces in-between. They also helped pave the way to the founding of my book publishing company, Folkways Press.
